Siemens Traffic ST900 launchSiemens Traffic was planning to use Traffex 2007 to unveil its latest ground-breaking system, the ST900, and wanted to create maximum impact and interest. With so much to say about the new product, we lapped up the opportunity. In a world increasingly concerned with the environment, here was a system that boasted power and sophistication backed up by impeccably green credentials. Our solution was an integrated one. In addition to PR support, we came up with elegant trade advertising and direct mail. Based on the line, Whatever the signal, it’s always green, a series of teaser postcards followed by online activity helped build awareness among the company’s customers ahead of the event. Meanwhile advertising and publicity appeared in the leading trade publications at the time of the launch. The result? According to Nicola Baker, Siemens Traffic’s Communications Manager, the campaign’s fresh approach was really well received: ‘Thanks to the pre-show activity, we enjoyed a very high level of interest in our new system, keeping our sales and product specialists busy throughout the three-day exhibition.’ |
