MBO at MMMM has announced a management buy-out that opens an exciting new chapter in its development for staff and clients alike. A senior management team consisting of Simon Veale, Andy Legg and George Beverley has led the buy-out, with George now joining Simon and Andy on the executive board. Simon has been appointed Managing Director of MM and takes over from founder Jeremy Gee, who is now working with MM on a consultancy basis. MM also welcomes new non-executive directors Robert Sharpe and Desmond Doyle, both of whom have invested in MM’s future. Both Sharpe and Doyle will bring their heavyweight experience to bear, as the former Chief Executive of Portman Building Society and current Chief Operating Officer of The Corporate Services Group PLC respectively, in developing new business and growing MM. The new management team consolidates the most significant year of activity for MM since it was founded in 1986. Following relocation to new offices in Tower Park, Poole, the range of in-house skills has been broadened to blend offline, online and communications, with Martin Tonks and Chris Lawrenson appointed to head up online and PR divisions respectively. MM’s clients include Sunseeker International, RNLI, Siemens, Proton, Musto clothing, API Group PLC, British Tinnitus Association and Standard Life Healthcare while a range of new business wins span the luxury, marine, property and B2C sectors.
